Ed Davies

Inspired by the Britpop movement as a youngster Ed started learning guitar and singing. By his mid teens Ed was writing and performing live as frontman and rhythm guitarist. After fronting a series of original bands Ed started working in music full time teaching at Zip Rock School ( still to this day ) and forming various very popular cover / tribute bands such as the Copycats and the Superskas to name a couple. With all this knowledge and experience it's hardly surprising Ed's solo acoustic shows can be about as diverse as it gets in terms of song choice. We are not sure the exact number of songs Ed has learned and is ready to play but we are led to believe it's more than 400 covers from the 50's to present day. 

 Ed has supported the likes of the Coral and the Enemy and a personal career highlight was Damon Albarn from Blur joining the Ed and Superskas live on stage.

Ed is available to book for any occasion and has a wealth of experience performing at Weddings and Corporate Events, and can be booked as solo act or in one of his cover bands ( which we hope to feature at a later stage ).
